Most paycheck calculators online are buried in ads, demand an email address before showing a result, or quietly ship the visitor's salary off to a server. MyTakeHomePaycheck was built to do the opposite. A visitor enters their pay, chooses their state and pay schedule, and gets their estimated take-home pay instantly. Every calculation runs entirely in the visitor's own web browser — the numbers they type never leave their device.
Alongside the main calculator, the site includes companion tools for converting hourly pay to salary (and back), estimating overtime pay, and seeing what a raise is actually worth after taxes. A dedicated page for each of the 50 states walks through that state's tax picture in plain English, so a worker in Texas and a worker in Oregon each get an answer shaped by where they actually live.
