A free roof replacement estimator that measures a roof from satellite imagery and returns an honest cost range. No signup, no phone number. Homeowners can also ask for real prices from local roofers without giving the roofers their contact details.
The business
GetMyRoofCost.com is an Agency-built utility site in the calculator portfolio: a satellite-measured estimator, a manual roof calculator, and sourced cost guides for all 50 states and the major roofing materials.
The challenge
Price a roof honestly from the sky. Satellite measurement runs within about 5 to 10 percent, so the estimate is a range built from published cost data, and the site says so.
What we built
Seventy pages: the satellite estimator, a manual calculator, 50 state cost pages, material pages, and a methodology page that cites the data behind every number. The lead flow is reversed from the big marketplaces: roofers receive the roof data and return real prices; the homeowner chooses who may contact them.
The technology
Static site generated and deployed through the Agency website platform. Roof measurements come from the Google Solar API behind a server-side proxy; the estimator runs in clearly labeled sample mode until the production key is connected.
How the pieces connect
Satellite measurements plus published cost data produce a private estimate, then optional real prices from local roofers, with contact details released only to the roofer the homeowner picks.
The public experience
A before-and-after slider hero, an address-in estimate in seconds, and cost guides written answer-first so search engines and AI assistants can quote them.
Behind the scenes
Cost bands are triangulated from Angi, Homewyse, This Old House and HomeGuide figures with state labor modifiers from Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data. Where the sources disagree, the methodology page says so instead of smoothing it over.

Live at https://getmyroofcost.com/ — deployed and platform-verified October 30, 2026 (release 97f5e82b); public HTTPS verified with a valid Let's Encrypt certificate (apex + www). Estimator runs in labeled sample mode until the Google Solar API key is connected; lead capture opens area by area as roofers are vetted (Washington first).
